SuperFriends

Besides growing up in the 1970s and 80s watching Woody Woodpecker and Andy Panda reruns, I also grew up on the SuperFriends.

Who doesn't remember and still love the SuperFriends? Sure, the show did not match the comic book version of the SuperFriends exactly (called the Justice League of America in comics) but it was still cool. Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Batman and Robin ... the only thing that would have make it better would be to have Hawkman and Hawkgirl in each episode (two of my favs!). Still, the show did give us the Wonder Twins and Gleek! C'mon ... Gleek is cool.

I love that old cartoons are being released on DVD these days. SuperFriends is no different. I am happy to present on this blog links to two awesome SuperFriends DVD sets. From this page, you can purchase the first season of the SuperFriends, which started the classic series. You can also find a link to the Lost Episodes; some have not been on television for years.

I hope to add more SuperFriends links soon. Happy cartoon watching.
